Pirate Ship FX in Houdini
Haodong Wang – Another project I’m working on as an intern at SideFX, A very enjoyable and helpful experience for now. Ship animation is done by keyframe transforms first, then all the RBD simulations are constraint on top of it.
Cloth and Wires are done in bullet solver as well, using instancing spheres and constraints. Wires are pre-fractured. so there will be no problem retime the animation afterwards.
