Hello everyone! I’m Asif Ali, and welcome to my channel. Today, we’re diving into a custom effect I created in Henery Linea. Let’s walk through how I built this effect.

But first, don’t forget to subscribe to my channel and click the bell icon so you never miss an update.

Now, let’s get started.

  1. Starting with a New Effect:
    • First, I right-click and go to Effects. I pick the Micrometer and create a Fountain effect, keeping the default name.
    • Once that’s done, I modify the fountain settings. I remove unwanted settings like Scary Color, Drag, Gravity, and other parameters like Velocity, which I don’t need right now.
  2. Changing the Mesh:
    • I delete the default sprite and add a Cube Mesh instead.
    • I set the Spawn Rate to 100, which results in 100 cubes being spawned.
  3. Switching to a Nitrous System:
    • I save it as a Nitrous System to test it in the viewport.
  4. Customizing Particle Position:
    • I add a custom position module to adjust the spawning position of the cubes.
    • To make each particle move separately, I use an Index to control the particle’s unique movement.
  5. Scaling the Particles:
    • I apply a similar method to Scale. Each cube will now scale based on its index value.
    • I use the same concept for Rotation to make the cubes rotate independently across different axes, achieving a spiral effect.
  6. Adding Material to the Particles:
    • I create a simple material with a black base color and a texture.
    • The texture is multiplied by the particle color to give it a dynamic look.
  7. Animating the Particles:
    • I introduce a dynamic parameter to control the color change speed, allowing for more control over the effect.
  8. Final Tweaks:
    • After some scaling adjustments and adding a Curve Module, I refine the animation and the overall effect.
    • I make the effect more dynamic by adding random colors to the particles and adjusting spawn rates for different results.

And there you have it! A custom particle effect using mesh particles, with control over position, scale, rotation, and color change.
