Steps to Create Tentacle Effect:
- Create a New Folder
Create a folder namedTentacleand save your reference. (You can use a static reference for now; animation will be covered later in a different video). - Create a Basic Material for Ribbon
- Name it
m_ribbon. - Use basic color and emissive properties for the material.
- Name it
- Create the Particle System
- Use the
Initialize Ribbonmodule. - Set the ribbon’s material to the one created above.
- Use
Tubeas the mesh type with 16 subdivisions. - Set the particle life to infinite.
- Use the
- Set Position and Height
- Modify particle position using the
Execution Index. - Adjust the height using a multiplier with the execution index.

- Use random values to bend the ribbons in X and Y axes.
