hi guys today i have created this energy ball effect in unreal engine Niagara. for this i used a high res sphere from Maya for main element in this effect and i used noise node in material so you can see the setting of my noise for this cool looking pattern. i will also show you how i created textured used in this effect for trails and flash.

This effect includes a customizable color parameter that allows you to change the color scheme with ease, giving the energy ball a unique look in different contexts.

1. Sphere Base Effect
- Mesh & Material: Begin with a high-vertex mesh sphere (imported from Maya) to allow for detailed distortion.
- Dynamic Parameters: Connect parameters for color, distortion, and rotation speed.
- Key Settings:
- Distortion: Controlled by a noise node within the material, achieving a scaling and rotating energy effect.
- Color Change: Add a dynamic parameter that allows for real-time color adjustments by adjusting hue values.
2. Trail Effects
- Mesh Type: Use an arc-shaped mesh to simulate trailing energy as the sphere moves.
- Material Setup: Apply a texture with noise distortion to create a flickering and warping trail effect.
- Parameter Controls:
- Hue Shift: Integrated to give trails vibrant color shifts.
- Trail Opacity and Size: Gradually fades over life, making trails look like dissipating energy.
3. Rays
- Cross-Planner Mesh: Set up with a gradient material to produce light rays that pulse out from the energy ball.
- Life Cycle Control: Animate ray spawning with a delay, adding dynamics as rays grow and fade out.
